Black Girl Ventures

Bioelements founder, Barbara Salomone, started on her entrepreneurial path with a goal to help future estheticians build their careers with skin care formulas and education to ensure success. Today, we remain committed to supporting the advancement of entrepreneurs so they get the chance to succeed and flourish in their fields.

Bioelements has made a private donation to Black Girl Ventures (BGV) in order to assist with their mission to provide Black/Brown woman-identifying founders with access to community, education, and leadership development in order to meet business milestones that lead to economic advancement through entrepreneurship. They fund and scale tech-enabled, revenue-generating businesses (under $1M) founded by people who identify as Black/Brown and woman. The BGV signature pitch program provides coaching, crowdfunding, and community for our founders.

Black Girl Ventures believes in a world where all ideas have a chance to succeed.

One Tree Planted

Healthy forests are one of the best defenses against threats associated with a changing climate. In the Bioelements home state of Colorado, forests play a critical role in dealing with climate change, because trees in healthy forests store and absorb carbon that might otherwise end up in the atmosphere. Young and vigorously growing forests absorb the most carbon dioxide, while dead or burned trees release this greenhouse gas back into the atmosphere.

For our launch of Urban Undo Cleanser, Bioelements set a goal to plant a tree in Colorado for every tube sold, with the aim to create a forest that can remove 24,000 lbs. of carbon from the atmosphere annually, contributing to a healthier environment. This goal has been surpassed - we've officially created a forest that will remove over 30,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide each year!

"We really appreciate this partnership and it's great to know that brands like Bioelements are taking a stand for sustainability by planting trees. Customers like knowing that their everyday products are making an impact, and nature benefits through ecological restoration."
- Diana Chaplin, Canopy Director of One Tree Planted

Thanks to all who purchased Urban Undo Cleanser to support this effort.

World Class Charitable Programs

Every year, we partner with our World Class Spas to support various
local 501(c)(3) charity or not-for-profit organizations. Spas choose their charity, and Bioelements offers support in the form of products for raffle baskets, silent auctions, or product donations for those in need.

World Class + World Class Elite spas offer the complete menu of Bioelements professional treatments, in addition to the full line of at-home products and exclusive Custom Blending. This distinction ensures a dedication to Bioelements advanced esthetics expertise – and places its estheticians among the most knowledgeable in skin care.

Corporate Waste +
Green Integration

We’re taking company-wide actions to minimize waste and energy use. This includes a reduction of printed paper materials to digital where applicable, shipping and container substitutions, and making environmentally preferable purchases – from the paper we use for our retail boxes, to the retail + merchandising support we offer to our spa business partners.

Vendors + Suppliers

We’re conducting eco-evaluations of all our partners in business – including ingredient suppliers, shipping + transport companies, and office supply vendors – to develop a set of clear expectations and ensure we’re working with mindful allies.
