The Power of Peptides

1

So many think the fountain of youth is a myth, but a skin care ingredient that actually targets the appearance of skin aging is a very real possibility. You might be wondering what this miracle ingredient is or how you can get a hold of it. The answer is simple and found in quite a few Bioelements products: peptides.

Over time, our skin produces less collagen and elastin – two proteins that help keep skin plump and retain elasticity. Coupled with damage from hormones and sun exposure, both types of proteins are depleted considerably as we age, and are culprits for the pesky fine lines we all fight so desperately to reverse.  Peptides are protein fragments that, when applied topically, function to increase hydration and revitalize skin. As a result, lines are smoothed and skin is more toned.

But, not all peptides are created equal! There are many different kinds of peptides and we use a few of them in our anti-aging products to achieve different results.

Power Peptide® is a skin toner with Palmitoyl Tripeptide 3 – a peptide that smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Meant to hydrate and nourish, this spritz-on skin toner keeps skin moist so that it can better absorb the powerful peptides and extracts in it.

Sleepwear® is an overnight rejuvenation creme that contains protein peptides to revitalize skin – so you wake up looking more youthful and rested. Apply nightly to get 8 hours of uninterrupted anti-aging.

Sleepwear for Eyes® is specifically formulated with biopeptides to help tone the delicate tissue around the eye area. Using this nightly ensures hours of anti-aging so that you wake up with visibly reduced fine lines and an increased feel of firmness.

Whether in an eye cream or skin toner, peptides play quite the role in targeting signs of skin aging. Have a question about peptides or anti-aging? Ask us in the comments!

Thank you for your reply. I am using Calmitude Hydrating Solution after cleansing. A few times a week I use the Bioelements Gel Mask. My exfoliator is Quick Refiner.
