Harmful rays don't just come from the sun. They are also emitted from indoor lighting (yes, all indoor light sources-we're talking lamps, overhead lights, even computer screens). These indoor sources emit potentially harmful, skin-aging blue rays.
So, how is indoor light different from the sun? Indoor lighting emits blue rays, which have shown to penetrate the entire depth of the skin, depleting its natural antioxidant system and causing free radical damage like dehydration, dullness and surface wrinkles.
But don't turn off all your lights just yet . . .
We've tapped into Lutein — a natural golden-yellow pigment derived from marigold petals. Studies have proven that this powerful pigment can filter out blue rays before they damage skin. Scientists have been buzzing about this flower-born breakthrough, and Bioelements has already put it to use in Lutein Indoor Protective Day Creme!

This moisturizer always leaves my skin feeling hydrated without leaving it greasy. My skin is exceptionally sensitive and the antioxidants in this formula help calm.

Wow! What a dfference using this product has made with my skin. It is less sensitive and more hydrated....especially through the dry winter months. I am sure it will the same for my skin with summer and cool air conditioning.
